TME consists of tumor cells, tumor stromal cells including stromal fibroblasts, endothelial cells and immune cells like microglia, macrophages and lymphocytes, as well as the non-cellular components of extracellular matrix such as collagen, fibronectin, hyaluronan, laminin.
