Background

Benzetimide is a muscarinic acetylcholine receptor (mAChR) antagonist.¹ It induces mydriasis and inhibits pilocarpine-induced salivation and lacrimation in rats (ED₅₀s = 0.06 and 0.04 mg/kg, respectively).²
